It's simple really! Once a month we release a set of new custom fabric designs, you choose what base you would like and how much, place your pre-order, then we work away getting your custom fabric printed and deliver it to you as soon as it's ready.

We try and open a new fabric 'round' once a month. We model our fabric rounds on a theme, but we do some random bits too! Keep an eye out on our website and social media for up-coming rounds. Once the round opens you have two weeks to place your order before we close the round and get on with printing. Sometimes during the rounds we open a flash pre-order round that is open for 48 hours and runs alongside the main round.

Once the round has opened you have around a week to place your order, then we close the round and get to work printing your gorgeous fabric.

Good things take time! Because we custom print your fabric to order the lead time is somewhere between 8 and 10 weeks, we work our hardest to get it out to you asap!

Enchanted Fabrics offer a layaway service to all customers. This allows you to pay half of your order total up front and then the other half within a 4 week window. To use the layaway service simply add coupon code LAYAWAY at checkout, this will take 50% off your order total. Once you have completed the checkout process, an invoice for the remaining 50% plus a £3 layaway fee will be generated and sent to your paypal to be paid within 4 weeks. Layaway orders will not be dispatched until paid in full. Layaway invoices will be cancelled if they are not paid in full within the stated 4 week time limit. We don't always have time to send reminders, so please make sure will to take a note of payment dates. If the remainder of the invoice is not paid we reserve the right to refuse a refund, as in most cases your fabric will have already been made.

Although our fabric is always fabulous, due to the nature of custom fabric, there might be small flaws. Although we check each piece of fabric before sending, should you spot a flaw, please get in touch with us straight away. Anything along the selvedge, close to the selvedge, or that will fit under a 10p we may not considered a flaw. Please note that continuous metrage cannot be guaranteed.

Woven is woven cotton with no stretch so good for bags, linens and clothing where no stretch is needed. Cotton Lycra is 95% cotton and 5% lycra, it is hard wearing with good stretch, great for leggings, T shirts...it is a good allrounder. Can be used for non stretch projects if used with a stabiliser. Bamboo Lycra is soft and has wonderful drape, good stretch and is awesome for dresses, skirts, tops, anything that you want stretch and drape or flow. Not as robust as cotton lycra so not great for waistbands etc. French Terry is a warmer knit fabric which is like cotton lycra but cozier and thicker, it has little loops on the back side, still has good stretch and is good for joggers, sweatshirts, hoodies etc.
